Declaration on accessibility

The Federal Waterways and Shipping Administration endeavours to make the website www.wsv.de and all associated subsites accessible without barriers. The legal bases are the Act on equal opportunities of persons with disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz, BGG) and the Ordinance on barrier-free information technologiy (Barrierefreie-Informationstechnik-Verordnung, BITV) in their currently valid versions. These are based on EU Directive 2016/2102 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.

The development and design of this website are focused on user-friendliness and accessibility. This website was subjected to a BITV 2.0 self-test. According to our own assessment, this website is largely compatible with the specifications of the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018).
