We, the Federal Waterways and Shipping Agency (GDWS), Waterways and Shipping Administration (WSV), Am Propsthof 51 53121 Bonn, are the operator of this website and the services offered on it and are therefore responsible for the collection, processing and use of personal data within the meaning of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). 1. Collection and storage of personal data

a) When visiting our website

We do not store any of your data when you visit our website.

b) When registering on our website (customer registration or entering the delivery address in the order process)

We collect the following data from you when you register on our website:

Mandatory information:

- address; (street, house number, postcode, place, country)

Voluntary information:

- middle name;

- company;

- region;

- telephone number;

- fax number.

The mandatory information is collected and stored,

- in order to know the recipient of transit fee notice;

- for processing the registration;

- for sending the proof of payment;

- to contact you in the event of any queries.

The voluntary information is collected in order to make it easier for us to contact you.

2. Transfer of personal data to third parties

We will pass on your name and address to our contractual partners within the framework of the fee payment process.

The data will not be passed on to third parties for other purposes.

We will not sell or otherwise pass on your data to third parties without your consent, unless there is a legal obligation for us to do so or if this is necessary to enforce our rights, in particular to enforce claims arising from the contractual relationship with you.

3. Cookies

When using our WSV Webshop, we use cookies that save the session data during the shop visit (session cookies).

Cookies help in many ways to make your visit to our website easier, more pleasant and more meaningful. Cookies are alphanumeric information files that your web browser automatically stores on your computer's hard drive when you visit our website.

Cookies do not damage your computer's hard drive, nor are personal data transmitted to us through the setting of cookies.

The cookies set by the Webshop generally lose their validity after one hour.

Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

You have a right of access to the personal data stored about you and a right to have incorrect data rectified, as well as do have the personal data blocked (right to be forgotten) or erased.

You can also view and change your data stored by us at any time by logging into you user account on our website using your login data.

You can delete your data or your entire user account at any time. This can be done by using the corresponding option in your user account or by sending a corresponding request by e-mail to WebshopNOK.GDWS@wsv.bund.de. We would like to point out that if you delete your data, you will not be able to use our services or will not be able to use them to their full extent.
